Site-specific video13’13’’meant to be seen in the forest where it has been shot, together with the installationin Piéce d‘été, in Malbuisson, (Doubs)
Presenting the same antagonism than the Eponym sculptural installation, this site-specific video is meant tobe watched in the forest where it has been shot, together with the installation, so that the viewer can followthe action on his mobile screen as if he was filming it and start to confuse the recorded material with itssurrounding reality. On the screen, a woman is pulling an unconscious body in the Forest. Guided by the video, we follow thisintriguing scene around the white cube, discovering that she isn‘t hiding a crime but helping someone indifficulty. The frame, as if it was magnetized by the white surface, loses sight of the duo for a short momentand finds them back in a “white-out” where the snow has erased all bearings.Choreography of a passive displacement through sites and seasons, this repetitive movement becomes anabsurd dance when the roles switch. One pulling towards the white out, the other bringing us back to theforest ground.
